For my MSc project I built an iOS app that allowed me to conduct research remotely on a smartphone. I went through both the design and development process from gathering requirements and testing designs to a fully implemented app published on the App Store.

When my team and I learned that 40,000 death in the UK are linked to air pollution each year we were shocked. And we realised that many people are like us: they do not know how damaging polluted air actually is. Our game is an entertaining way of rising awareness and learning how to reduce air pollution.
Most people think apps are the solution to everything. But what if you are designing for an urban farm where people want disconnect from technology? As part of the CHI Student Design Competition my team and I conducted extensive user research and came up with a low-tech solution that perfectly fits into the farm environment.
